After completing his interventional training in July of 2002, Dr. Tehrani was in Port Arthur Texas for eight months, where in addition to performing coronary interventions, he gained extensive experience in the percutaneous management of peripheral arterial disease.
He then moved to Rome, Georgia, and joined the Southeastern Cardiovascular Institute (SCI) which is part of the Harbin Clinic in July of 2003. At SCI, Dr. Tehrani took over Dr. Timothy McDermott’s practice, and worked with Drs. Frank Stegall, Hector Picone, Hunter Myers, Vincent Pearson, Robert Stapyrick, Michael Ware, and Christopher Merritt.
Dr. Tehrani moved to Macon in September of 2005 joining Drs. Thomas Meyer, and Talley Culclasure at the Georgia Heart and Vascular Center (the GHVC). Dr. Tehrani, succeeded Dr. Madeline Davidoff there, and became a partner at the GHVC in October of 2007. As a partner, Dr. Tehrani overlapped with Dr. James Kim who joined the GHVC in January of 2008 and departed in September of the same year.
Dr. Tehrani left the Georgia Heart and Vascular Center to start NT Cardiovascular Center in March of 2009.
